Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Program Manager Resource, Engineering & Hospitality Group - Sourcing to our location in Renton, WA.
We are seeking a Program Manager Resource, Engineering & Hospitality Group - Sourcing who will be responsible for the effective and efficient implementation of the sourcing program led by the Resources Engineering and Hospitality Group (REHG).
The Program Manager performs a variety of cross program and project coordination activities and other duties that support the day-to-day performance of the Sourcing program within The Resources, Engineering, and Hospitality Group. The Program Manager is expected to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and other program managers, while also managing the key milestones and expectations required of the connected projects. This is a visible role in the organization requiring a combination of program management, project management, technical and interpersonal skills to be successful.
This position ensures that the sourcing program result initiatives are effectively guided to completion for action planning to realize successful sourcing projects. This person works collaboratively with Sr Leadership, Core leaders, and REH to identify and escalate issues, develop action plans, and remove barriers for successful communication between sourcing and its customers.
The Program Manager is responsible for engaging sourcing leaders and communicating progress on the portfolio of work as well as identifying additional opportunities to streamline reporting. This work will encompass many cross functional projects across all sourcing to include but not limited to: Specials, ERP functions and standardization, templates, product discrepancies, supplier resiliency, risk mitigation, merger and acquisition coordination and overall contract value.
This role is also responsible for other special projects as assigned.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for managing program to ensure that the project deliverables are complete. Manage development of the Sourcing initiatives – working with AVP and Directors to identify opportunities, produce action planning targets regularly, and develop and maintain sourcing reduction of variation.
Responsible for leading and motivating cross-functional teams to obtain desired results. Review program management to identify opportunities to combine reporting/oversight and cadence of sourcing programs to ensure all communications provided to other shared services.
Provide overall program status reporting. Facilitates regular reporting and communications by conducting status meetings or other means as appropriate. Maintains own program files, both electronic and on paper.Continually analyze process to seek improvement strategies, along with systematic tracking, to determine whether these strategies result in progress towards established benchmarks or goals.
Effectively resolve or escalate program risks and issues. Facilitate monthly report out meetings, generate associated reports, communications, and related materials that provide updates on performance of program and ensure program is meeting stated goals.
Clearly and effectively communicate and manage customer expectations. Manage and grow relationships with key leaders and stakeholders across assigned service areas to ensure programs are implemented as planned.
Create and maintain relationships with the key stakeholders and maximize the customer’s experience. Build support to influence decisions in order to ensure aligned efforts towards common objectives.
Develop program in alignment with the organizations strategic plans and objectives.
Working as a liaison between sourcing pillars and Operations Excellence to support System Program strategies.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. Or equivalent education/experience.
2 years Managing projects/people/or programs.
2 years; 1 -2 years working within and/or support supply chain activities, understanding the "day in the life" of supply chain caregivers.
Demonstrated written communication skills.
Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion.
