Providence Health & Services Integrated Talent Management (ITM) Change Management Consultant in Washington

Description:

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling aN Integrated Talent Management (ITM) Change Management Consultant. This position works 100% remotely and is open to candidates residing in Washington, Oregon or California.

We are seeking an Integrated Talent Management (ITM) Change Management Consultant who will develop and implement change management strategic plans, project plans, organization readiness and adoption planning for large transformational initiatives. Understand the overall change management approach, messaging and engagement for major transformational initiatives. Strategize with other transformation leaders, project members, communications, project managers, training, and other resources to ensure a holistic change approach is in place and implemented for each initiative and that implementation, transition and adoption is successful. When needed implement change plans, roll-out timelines, and ensure stabilization is successful. Uphold best practices, coach, monitor, and energize adoption. Stay up-to-date on how different parts of the system and caregivers utilize tools and how that changes as we transform. Teach change management concepts and tools to a broad audience. Facilitate, compile, and report on what worked, what did not, and future improvements (both for customers and internal team). Work with communications and/or project manager on surveying of users. Support team and customers as needed when engaging with key stakeholder groups.

Key challenges and opportunities include:

  • Building and reaching consensus. Agreeing upon a course of action when there are multiple perspectives.

  • Influencing/gaining commitment from staff to engage in the change management process.

  • Understanding, rapidly adjusting to, and helping others understand organizational change.

  • Maintaining standards of professional conduct with respect to activity design, data gathering, analysis, presentation, confidentiality, and daily work activities.

Examples include the following:

  • Managing large change-based projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Securing resources of time, talent, and funding to support the change initiatives that are needed by the organization in an environment of intense competition for resources.

  • Communicating information at appropriate levels and in a timely way to audiences that will vary in size, in the need for information, and in the degree of detail/complexity of information required

  • Generating accountability for change across the organization through leaders, core leaders, and influential stakeholders (Mission, HR, partners etc)

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Establish strong team relationships, building trust and open communications related to project issues and results - both with specific project team members as well as with regional and line of business change agents

  • In collaboration with process owners and/or sponsors, facilitate meetings or specific portions of meetings as assigned. Develop appropriate agendas that effectively utilize change management and group process tools to assist the group in achieving their meeting objective(s).

  • Coach Senior Leaders, Sponsors, Managers, and Process Owners on strategy for effective implementation, change processes, and resources needed to maximize change adoption.

  • Develop and gain approval for change management strategies for assigned initiatives

  • Design change plan(s) and gain input and engagement from key stakeholder groups (enablers, partners, leaders, recipients) to ensure support, influence and accountability for both the decision process and the desired outcome.

  • Contribute change management materials and reports to the Change Sharepoints / Team sites and other project repositories as needed.

  • Participate in and / or lead change discussions in key forums including leadership meeting, project meetings, regional / lob meetings.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • 5 years Broad business experience preferably in the implementation of business change initiatives including hands-on implementation experience.

  • Proven track record of success in driving business change within all levels of the organization.

  • Experience partnering with marketing and communication teams to assist with change awareness and adoption efforts.

  • 5 years Experience in large group facilitation of workshops and working sessions, and handling challenging public situations effectively.

  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.

  • Effective interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build strong customer relationships.

  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Change / Organizational Effectiveness.

  • 1 year Healthcare experience.

  • Proactively approaches responsibilities.

  • Demonstrated project management skills.
