Providence Health & Services RN Clinician - Hospice in Tukwila, Washington
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinician (Hospice, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Hospice of Seattle, serving the King County area. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
**$7,500 sign on bonus is available for external applicants
In this position you will:
Travel throughout your work day to multiple locations which may include private residences, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care needs for the patient and their family utilizing the resources of the organization and community.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote patient and family choice, assure continuity of care, and enhance the quality of life of dying patients.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Utilize software programs for the maintenance of patient records and communication with team members.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Current Washington State professional licensure or certification
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Current Washington State Driver's license and automobile insurance
1 years nursing experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Hospice certification or advanced certification
Prior experience in hospice, home health, long term care, medical/surgical, and/or oncology
Proficient with software programs that aid in the maintenance of patient records and communication with team members
