Providence Health & Services Home Health Quality Review Specialist - PT or RN in Tukwila, Washington
Providence is calling a Quality Review Specialist - PT or RN (Home Health Shared Services, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Senior and Community Services in Washington State. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Work remotely to support multiple home health agencies to improve quality metrics.
Travel approximately 1 day a week to the King County office in Tukwila, WA
Verify appropriate documentation, compliance and quality of care provided.
Ensure adherence to the plan of care and identify document deficiency trends using a proactive approach.
Serve as a role model, consultant, auditor and OASIS expert to staff in the Providence Senior and Community Services (PSCS) Home Health Service Line.
Audit charts for clinical oversight and compliance, and adherence to Medicare guidelines.
Work closely with the Clinical Educator for Home Health and collaborate with clinical leadership to prepare new hires during initial orientation.
Current Washington State Clinical License (RN, or PT)
Current Washington State Driver's license and automobile insurance
Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification
Current certification in OASIS or as a Home Health and Palliative Care Specialist required (or obtain within 6 months)
Three year recent clinical experience in-home Home Health/palliative care experience
Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Physical Therapy
Previous staff leadership/coaching experience
