Under the direction of the Administrative Support Supervisor, the Clinical Clerical Assistant provides office support to team members to ensure efficient and coordinated service delivery. Communicates in a professional manner with public and staff. In this position you will: Assist the Hospice team by performing clerical duties in the daily performance of their duties. Assist in ensuring the patient medical record is accurate and complete in accordance with industry and ministry standards. Assist in ensuring the admission medical record is accurate and complete in accordance with industry and agency standards.

Required qualifications for this position include:
Completion of a certified nursing assistant course or equivalent training
One (1) year previous home health/hospice experience required as a nurse’s aide, hospice aide, orderly, or related experience in an acute, rehabilitative, or long term care facility, or hospice organization
Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) in the state of Washington
Current Healthcare Provider CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification

About the Team
Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses.
