Providence is calling a Clinical Educator (PSCS Quality, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Health & Services in Tukwila, Washington.

Schedule: Monday through Friday - ability to work remotely
Travel Required within WA and CA
In this position you will:
Develop, implement, deliver or coordinate, and evaluate educational programs to assure that staff demonstrates clinical competency, professional development, and knowledge about hospice and palliative care, and to assure compliance with all legal, regulatory, Providence system and agency-specific requirements.
Collaborate with the hospice leadership to coordinate the orientation.
Complete joint visits with clinical nursing staff to increase technical skill set and to facilitate transition from novice to expert hospice clinician.
Administer the learning management system (Healthstream) for staff education; and assures the tracking of staff completion of assigned training sessions.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert in the area of clinical skills required for Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) staff.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
Current Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Current Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse certification within 6 months of hire
Ability to obtain current Washington State Registered Nursing License
Ability to obtain current Washington State Driver's license and automobile insurance
3 years of inpatient or in-home hospice/palliative care experience
2 years of adult education experience
1 year of Health Information Services (HIS) experience
1 year of clinical review and audit acivity
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree
1 year experience in nursing or healthcare education curriculum development with a variety of teaching methods
