Providence is calling a Clinical Educator ( Providence Home Health Quality , Days, 1.0 FTE) to SCS Home Health in Tukwila , Washington. In this position you will:
Develop, implement, deliver or coordinate, and evaluate educational programs to ensure caregivers demonstrate excellent clinical performance, professional development, and knowledge about home health care to ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, Providence system and agency-specific requirements.
Collaborate with service line managers to coordinate orientation and mentoring of new clinical and non-clinical caregivers.
Direct and coordinate mandatory educational activities in collaboration with Risk, Safety and Compliance.
Identify, lead and/or participate in performance improvement projects that can be addressed with educational solutions.
Deliver training programs through various methods and approaches such as in-person presentations and in-services, on-line training via Learning Management System technology, webinars, periodic skill fairs and demonstrations.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
3 years inpatient or medicare home health experience
2 years adult education experience
1 year OASIS-C experience
1 year clinical review and audit activity
Current RN Licensure in Washington
Ability to obtain a driver's license
Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification
Map reading skills, ability to drive safely and to follow directions in order to navigate effectively in varied road conditions and inclement weather
Must be able to work in pet friendly environment when in patient's homes. This may involve animals such as cats, dogs or birds
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's degree in Nursing
1 year experience in nursing or healthcare education curriculum development with a variety of teaching methods
