Providence Health & Services Administrative Assistant - Facilities in Tukwila, Washington
Providence is calling a Administrative Assistant - Facilities (Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Senior and Community Services Divisional Services in Renton, Washington.

Schedule: Monday through Friday (8am to 5pm) - 1 hour lunch
In this position you will:
Assist Manager in planning daily meeting room schedules; preparation of meeting rooms, and assistance with video conferencing equipment.
Assist in administrative correspondence, including internal mail deliver, mail/package preparation for sending, delivery to offsite third party mail vendors.
Perform typing/word-processing duties including: meeting notes, memos, graphs, announcements, and other reports for Manager.
Assist Directors and other members of the leadership team with various facilities projects including construction improvement projects as needed.
Attend Administrative Staff meetings, Safety Committee Meetings, and others as needed, as well as, act as a facilitator when appropriate.
Monitors and maintains mail delivery system, equipment, supply purchases, and vendor contracts; Plans and organizes daily mail delivery procedures.
Assists facility staff in problem-solving computer applications, communications, and mail delivery procedures.
Coordinates ordering and purchasing of supplies, i.e., paper for copiers, office supplies, etc.
Front office coordinator responsibilities such answering phones, greeting clients/customers at the front desk
Maintain clean environment throughout the facility by working with vendors to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
Valid Washing State driver’s license and have access to daily use of an insured reliable vehicle or an alternate ability to travel to sites as required.
2 years progressive facilities experience, preferably in an office setting
Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to use standard office equipment including personal computers, telephones, copiers and fax machines
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
