Providence is calling a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition-Functional to Providence St Joseph Health (Temporary) in Torrance, CA.
We are seeking a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition-Functional to serve as the primary point of contact for managers, for the recruitment and selection of Providence St Joseph Health employees. He or she will be responsible for consulting and implementing the sourcing and recruitment services that favorably impact our business objectives and deliver high quality service to both internal and external customers. This position is a anticipated 6 month benefited temporary role.
In this position you will:
Recruiting for medical office professionals, Medical Assistants, LVNs, Front Office, Schedulers, Allied Health Positions, Clinic Managers, RN Supervisors, Directors etc.
Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Strategic Partners (HRSP) to build comprehensive recruitment plans, clarify required job skills and competencies, and use the best sourcing strategies and techniques for each job category.
Effectively attract and locate the best candidates for each position utilizing all available tools and acquired knowledge.
Proactively manage candidates and prioritizes requisitions based on metrics and understanding of recruiting goals. Successfully negotiate with hiring managers to improve responsiveness and timeliness, and to ensure adherence of the selection process.
Collaborate with TA Coordinators to ensure reqs are complete, opened, activities/candidates tracked and closed in the applicant tracking system.
Review resumes against job requirements, conduct candidate phone screens/assessments against qualifications and presents to Hiring Managers.
Source candidates using networking, social media, events, competitive intelligence/research, sourcing tools and TA Programs such as employee referrals, diversity, military and professional outreach.
Possess knowledge of the candidate market across the spectrum of assigned positions and throughout the region in order to best advise Hiring Managers and HRSP’s in hiring decisions.
Manage the offer process and act as a liaison between the candidate and the Hiring Manager during negotiations, considering the company’s and candidate’s needs throughout the process.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Minimum 2 - 5 years recruiting experience.
Ability to build comprehensive account management recruitment plans and sourcing strategy plans, clarify required job skills and competencies with Hiring Managers.
Reviewing resumes against job requirements, behavioral interviewing candidates against qualifications and presenting recommendations to Hiring Managers.
Proven success having personally sourced candidates using networking, social media, events, competitive intelligence/research, sourcing tools and other programs such as employee referrals, diversity, military and professional outreach.
Experience consulting with Hiring Managers on compensation/offers, market trends, sourcing challenges, behavioral interviewing, and recruiting process expectations, accountabilities and service level.
Proficient in MS Office suite products.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered in addition to minimum years’ experience.
Previous experience using Applicant Tracking Systems for experience recruiting in Healthcare.
Participation in an HR professional organization (e.g. PHR/SPHR, AIRS Certified Recruiter, NW Recruiter Association, ERE, NAHCR Certified Recruiter).
