Providence is calling a Physical Therapist for Home Health ( full-time / day shift ) to Providence Little Company of Mary Home Health based in Torrance, CA.

In this position you will:
Provide home health physical therapy within the Physical Therapy Professional Scope of Practice, to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury.
Assist the patient in reaching maximum ability within the limits of his/her capabilities and the disease process.
Assist the physician in evaluating level of function and in developing the plan of care.
Evaluate the home environment and make appropriate recommendations.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current California Physical Therapy ( PT ) license.
Basic Life Support ( BLS ) for Health Care Providers by the American Heart Association.
Degree in Physical Therapy from an approved program according to Medicare guidelines.
Minimum 2-years' experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or home care.
Requires the ability to fluently speak, read, write and understand the English language.
Requires a valid driver’s license with no excessive violations or accidents.
Requires maintaining the minimum state requirements for auto insurance.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
