Providence Sleep Technologist - Respiratory Care Practitioner in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Sleep Technologist - Respiratory Care Practitioner (Sleep Laboratory, Night Shift, 0.98 FTE) to Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Assists with, or performs, according to scope of practice, a timely assessment of patients, according to policies, procedures, and protocols, taking into account age/development stage
Provides Sleep Studies for patients as requested by physicians in accordance with all policies, procedures and protocols as outlined by the technical policy and procedure manual
Maintains and properly stores all equipment and procedure manuals
Keeps abreast of the changing procedures, and techniques of the Sleep Study field
Performs general care activities, consistent with patient's age/development stage, cultural and other individual needs
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an AMA approved school for Respiratory Care
Registry as a Polysomnographic Technologist required within 2 years of acquiring this position
State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Recent experience in the field of Sleep Study technology
