Providence Health & Services RN- Clinical Coordinator, Psych Unit - B.E.S.T. Program in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a B.E.S.T. Clinical Coordinator (Psychiatry, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital in Spokane, WA. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable .
In this position you will:
Consistently carry out patient/family requests or explain if the requests are contrary to PSHMC policy or medical and nursing plan of care.
Consistently provide psychological, spiritual and cultural support for patients and families based on assessed needs.
Conduct periodic review of all elements of the Clinical Care Coordination program, polices, and procedures and works with team members and appropriate committees to update practice.
Provide inservice education classes and instruction to staff as needed.
Be active in the development and implementation of marketing efforts for the Children’s Hospital.
Provide ongoing services and consultation with families based on evaluation of progress toward established goals.
Transition patients as appropriate back to community resource and/or physician office when goals are met, or as appropriate.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Current Washington RN License
2 years of recent pediatric psychiatry experience in an acute care or community setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Case Management experience and/or demonstrated leadership
