Providence is calling a Respiratory Therapist (Respiratory Therapy, Variable Shift, 0.0 FTE) to Providence St Luke's Rehabilitation Institute in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:
Provide direct patient care for outpatients by utilizing appropriate knowledge and skills in collaboration with other members of the health care team; providing skilled, creative discipline-specific therapeutic services to cardiopulmonary rehab patients.This includes standardized fitness assessments and exercise prescription of all assigned patients, and the development of a treatment plan.
May supervise volunteers or other supportive personnel.
All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Washington State Registered Respiratory Therapist
ACLS certified or must obtain certification within 6 months of hire
PALS certified or must obtain PALS certification within 1 year of hire
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) certification for the Healthcare Provider or obtain within the first 30 days of employment
