Providence Health & Services Financial Analyst Senior in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Financial Analyst Senior to Providence Health & Services in Spokane, WA.
We are seeking a Financial Analyst Senior to be responsible for providing analytical support to business groups across the organization by providing consistent and meaningful financial information, reporting and analysis.
In this position you will:
Assist in the creation of the operating budget, capital budget, and long range financial plan.
Partner with all levels of the organization to provide ad hoc financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
Maintain and support key financial and decision support systems.
Participate in the monthly analysis and preparation of financial statements for the region including monthly written summaries of analysis of assigned areas; able to present analysis to senior leadership.
Work on special projects including business plan and performance development.
Work in an environment that operates as a team. The willingness to help others in a time of need is necessary. Professional communication, excellence in work ethic, and a thorough understanding of the need for accuracy are essential to this position.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or other healthcare related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5- 7 years of previous business & financial analysis, reporting and analysis planning & project management with experience in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, capital planning, business analysis and / or project planning.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in health care finance operations including financial budgeting, reporting and analysis, and/or patient accounting.
