Providence Health & Services Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Pharmacist in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Pharmacist (Peds Pulmonology and Cystic Fibrosis Clinic, Day Shift, 0.5 FTE) to Providence Medical Group in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, genetic counselors, and services to optimize medication therapy.
Provide drug information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counseling patients on drug therapies and the correct use of medications and supplies.
Facilitate authorization of medication refills for clinic patients.
Develop clinic staff's pharmacological knowledge by participating in clinical programs; training providers, staff, students, interns, residents, and health care professionals.
Maintain pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Field of Study: Pharmacy)
Licensed or eligible for license as a Registered Pharmacist in good standing by the State of Washington
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 2 years of pharmacist experience in a medical group or hospital setting or equivalent residency program
