Providence Health & Services Communications Attendant in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Communications Attendant ( Communications , On-Call Variable Shift, 0.0 FTE) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Answer all incoming calls into the facility’s main telephone lines, physician’s answering service and in house operator calls.
Provide in person visitor information, reception, and paging.
Coordinate all emergency communications. Monitor Hospital Alarm Panels, handle all Fire and Disaster Drills and operate hospital two-way radios.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience
Must accurately type a minimum of 45 wpm
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience operating a switchboard
Experience in a medical environment
Proficiency in operating a computer
Knowledgeable in medical terminology
