Providence Health & Services Biomedical Technician I in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Biomedical Equipment Technician I ( Clinical Engineering , Day Shift, 0.8 FTE/32 hours per week) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:
Have responsibility for Installations, electrical safety inspections, periodic maintenance performance testing and major and minor repairs, and pre-purchase evaluation of medical electronic equipment and systems.
Operate sophisticated test equipment and instrumentation.
Analyze data from inspections, performance tests, periodic maintenance and major and minor repairs of medical electronic equipment and prepare reports on findings.
Comprehend medical electronic equipment and systems to a degree to enable modification of existing systems.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics or military equivalent
5 or more years experience with medical electronic devices at a circuit level
