Providence Behavioral Health Practice Manager - Rise Program in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Behavioral Health Practice Manager (Rise Program, Day Shift, Full Time) to Providence Medical Group in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:
Provide operational and management support for their assigned clinic(s) and department(s) to the benefit of Providence Medical Group (PMG) providers, staff and patients under the direction of their assigned Director.
Be responsible for the direct management of assigned clinic(s) or departments with a total of 6 or less providers and a maximum of 20 staff.
Manage day to day clinic/department operations to insure smooth operations, quickly resolves operational issues/problems as they are identified.
Ensure effective patient care management that promotes high patient satisfaction. Provides input into the development and implementation of new clinic programs to increase and maintain patient volume and satisfaction.
Be responsible for staff recruitment working in collaboration with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources.
Provide timely employee evaluations; also provides timely employee coaching, mentoring and disciplinary action as necessary. All disciplinary action will be performed per PMG’s disciplinary process and policies.
Develop annual clinic/department budget. Works to achieve clinic/department financial budget goals. Prepares month-end report for Director which will include a variance analysis.
Adheres to established company compliance, policies, procedures and protocols. Develop and revise policies and procedures.
Provides ongoing clinical counseling supervision to direct reports or interns.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate’s Degree or 3 years of actual supervisory experience.
1 year practice supervisory or management experience.
Knowledge of ambulatory care; background in clinic procedures including schedule management, registration, use of electronic medical record, patient flow, billing, referrals, and authorizations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Masters of Social Work from an accredited University
Licensed in Washington as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Mental Health Counselor
2 years of post graduate clinical experience
