We are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to work at Providence St. Joseph Care Center in Spokane, Washington. You will be accountable for direct and indirect quality care for residents, according to the individualized needs of the residents, following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Required qualifications for this position include:

Registered Nurse (RN) - Admissions

We are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) that will be working admissions/discharge positions in the Transitional Care Unit. You will work collaboratively with the Admissions/Intake team and Primary Care Nurses and Nursing Assistants to ensure patients have a seamless transition into Providence St. Joseph Care Center. In the absence or need for Primary Nurse, you may provide coverage including participation in direct patient care by administering medication, providing primary skin care, assisting in modifying treatment regimen to meet patients' physical and psychosocial needs.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Education sufficient for licensure
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington
Current CPR certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire
1 year experience in the SNF/LTC environment
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Sub Acute Care and Skilled Nursing

$2,500 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.
We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), to work at Providence St. Joseph Care Center in Spokane, Washington. You will provide each assigned resident with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by the supervisor.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Must be a licensed Nursing Assistant Certified in accordance with laws of the State of Washington.
Current CPR certification required.
7.5 hours AIDS-related training required.

Providence St. Joseph Care Center in Spokane, Washington is located on the campus of Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital. Our Transitional Care Unit is designed for patients coming out of the hospital who need skilled nursing care, end of life care, or rehabilitation for those recovering from surgery or who have a functional loss from illness, disease, or an accident. Our Long Term Care unit provides skilled nursing in a residential setting, addressing the needs of our residents through creating a sense of community and home and providing a model of care that is resident-centered.
