Providence is calling a Occupational Therapist (Orthopedics, DayShift, 0.0 FTE) to Physician Management Group in Spokane Valley, Washington. In this position you will:

  • Maintain a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors by coordinating repair of bio-medical equipment

  • Perform a timely assessment of patients, according to policies, procedures, and protocols, taking into account age and developmental scale

  • Evaluate each patient providing a plan of care that is specific to their unique orthopedic needs

  • Facilitate discussions regarding patient treatment, splinting, and use of ancillary staff

  • Demonstrate competence in use of PAM’s including, but not limited to: therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, superficial heat/cold modalities

  • Demonstrate manual therapy skills to include but not limited to: PROM of upper extremity joints; up to grade four joint mobilization of upper extremity joints

  • Fabricate a wide arrange of protective and progressive splints

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position includes:

  • Masters degree - or- equivalent from an accredited school of occupational therapy

  • Licensed in the state of Washington as an Occupational Therapist (OT/L)

  • Two (2) years of clinical experience in the treatment of hand and upper extremity diagnoses.
