Behavioral Health Therapist Licensed/Mental Health Counselor -(5,000 Sign-on Bonus)) at Providence North Pines Clinic.
The Licensed Therapist practices in a treatment setting and is dedicated to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders. They will collaborate with patients to evaluate and diagnose mental health concerns, provide individual/family therapy, facilitate group therapy sessions to reduce and /or resolve symptoms of psychiatric disorders. The Licensed Therapist will utilize established best practice approaches and standards; complete assessment of patient risk to self and/or others; complete and implement risk reduction/mitigation plans to ensure patient and community safety; incorporate evidence based approaches to psychotherapy including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or Behavioral Sciences from an approved school or in Social Work (MSW) in an education program accredited by the council on social work education and approved by the secretary based upon nationally recognized standards.
Licensed Therapist in the state of Washington or within 90 days of hire.
2 years in the field or in a related area.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
2 years in Ambulatory clinic or hospital
Looking for dynamic/creative/flexible Licensed Clinician interested in partnering with Primary Care to care for patients.
Knowledge of psychotropics and interest in collaborating with psychiatrist to enhance care.
EHR knowledgeable and experience. Concurrent Documentation a plus.tervention, DSM-5 diagnostics, and brief intervention therapies.
Team oriented person who thrives with interdisciplinary collaboration.
