Providence Hospice Aide/CNA - Hospice Sound in Shelton, Washington
Providence is calling a Hospice Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant (0.6 FTE, Day Shift) to Providence Sound Hospice in Lacey, Washington. This position will work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays supporting Thurston, Lewis, and Mason Counties.

In this position you will:
Drive throughout your work day to see patients in private residences, adult family homes, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities within a designated region.
Provide appropriate patient care as directed by the licensed nurse.
Provide personal care, assistance with performing activities of daily living and prescribed therapeutic exercises, and basic housekeeping services essential to the comfort of the patient.
Have proficiency using software programs for the maintenance of patient records and communication with team members.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Completion of a certified nursing assistant course or equivalent training
Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) in the state of Washington
Current Healthcare Provider CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification
Current Washington State Driver’s license and automobile insurance
1 year previous home health/hospice experience as a nurse’s aide, hospice aide, orderly, or related experience in an acute, rehabilitative, long-term care, or hospice organization
