Providence Senior Interoperability Technical Project Manager - Lumedic in Seattle, Washington


Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Interoperability Technical Project Manager - Lumedic to our location in Seattle, WA.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager - Lumedic to maintain information technology strategies by researching and implementing technological strategic solutions. The Senior Technical Project Manager manages key projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of projects.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Core Responsibilities: Plan, manage, monitor, and close/handover to operations for large projects with complex scope, multiple workstreams and interdependencies. Effectively manage and report on scope, risks and issues, budget and timelines. Develop relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and cross functional teams to ensure solutions meet timeline and business objectives. Ensure all project / program tasks are clearly understood, assigned and tracked. Complete all project documentation required based on our PMO process. Engage in and communicate ideas for supporting the continuous improvement of PMO processes with a positive and constructive attitude and for developing this attitude in others. Support in coaching more junior PMs that promotes ongoing development of PM team.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Builds valued relationships consistently, enabling on-going and effective partnerships focused on achieving shared objectives for the customer. Identifies differences or disagreements among business and technology stakeholders; facilitates involvement, collaboration, and communication to resolve issues quickly. Partners with stakeholders to support their decision-making processes; challenges thinking to ensure accountability and good stewardship.

  • Execution and Delivery: Commits significant focus, energy and/or resources to reach a complex and challenging solution; actively looks for new methods or processes to achieve desired results. Identifies gaps and anticipates risks; takes action to connect parties, address risks and determine solutions. Reinforces culture of shared ownership in program progress and successful completion.

  • Sustainable Solutions: Drives for optimal solutions that are simple and quickest way to value; prevents unsustainable complexity. Sees obstacles and challenges as opportunities. Instills a continuous improvement mindset focused on identifying waste, root causes of inefficiency and practical, incremental improvements.

  • Effective Communication: Clearly communicates decisions, plans, goals and strategies. Organizes and communicates complex information clearly and simply to drive actions. Communicates to diverse audiences so that information is credible, digestible and easily understood. Adjusts communication based on content and audience

  • Technical Aptitude: Considers options that span practices and functions and addresses each with a logical approach. Engages in problem-solving on situations with increasing enterprise impact. Able to anticipate functionality/system/application problems based on knowledge gained and past experience. Understands the specifics of a particular issue and knows how it affects project execution in terms of risks and values for the project.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience with Agile delivery, ideally Scrum leading teams delivering end user products and services.

  • 5 yrs project Management role.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical IS/ Related Field or equivalent.

  • Experience with Cloud Services such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) upon hire.

  • Certified scrum master upon hire.
