Providence is calling an On-call Registered Nurse (RN) (Long Term and Transitional Care Float, Variable Shift, 0.0 FTE) to Providence Mount St. Vincent in West Seattle, Washington . The Mount is looking for a fantastic RN who will work as a collaborative member for both the long term and transitional care team, to include, providing the elderly the independence they deserve, the right to make their own choices, to respect the resident’s privacy, make them feel safe and secure at all times, while maintaining their dignity. You get the opportunity to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to prepare and administer individualized nursing plans through the resident directed care model. You will provide quality direct patient care to sub-acute patients and residents, which may include Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Your purpose as a caregiver is to promote quality of life and a sense of belonging for the elderly in this wonderful long term care community in West Seattle.

Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or obtain within 30 days of employment
Food Handler's permit within 90 days of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
At least 6 months of nursing experience
Prior patient care experience in acute, subacute, long term care and/or with Alzheimer’s or Dementia patients
Experience supervising nursing assistants
