Providence Revenue Cycle Senior Program Manager in Seattle, Washington
Providence is calling a Revenue Cycle Senior Program Manager to our location in Seattle, WA.
The Revenue Cycle Sr. Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that their projects are aligned with the strategic and budgetary goals of Revenue Cycle. The Sr. Program Manager works with the business owners to identify projects, coordinate with key resources to evaluate the project benefits, and prepare the project proposals for submission to Revenue Cycle Strategic Governance. He/She is responsible for determining their assigned business area's project priorities based on the overall RC strategic portfolio. The Sr. Program Manager is responsible for the execution, implementation, and communication of the project with cross functional leaders, IT resources, and the RC Senior Management team. It is expected that the Sr. Program Manager utilizes established PMP guidelines in their program management delivery. Each project that the Sr. Program Manager is responsible for should be included on the business area's road map, be aligned with the business area's objectives, and support the business owner's strategic goals.
In this position you will:
Develop, plan, and manage a program of high priority work initiatives within Revenue Cycle including projects that are cross functional and/or enterprise wide
Perform business area account management as well as project management of the high priority work initiatives documented in a road map.
Assist Revenue Cycle leaders and business owners in the identification of business needs, prioritization of projects/initiatives, development of the roadmap, completion of cost benefit analysis, and submission of proposals to RC Strategic Governance.
Manage and implement project(s) on time and within budget:
Supervise all phases delivery including: initiating, planning, executing, performance monitoring, and closing a project.
Track and report on schedules, budget, and metrics
Manage all aspects of a project to ensure that deliverables are fulfilled.
Provide coordination, communication, and structure.
Prepare detailed work plans.
Negotiate for required resources including budget and staff.
Assign tasks to team members.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Reconcile and report discrepancies in budget and schedule.
Document initiative successes.
Assign responsibilities where appropriate and report regularly on status updates.
Hold project initiation, status, and closure meetings.
Communicate with customers and supervisors target completion dates based on business need or impact.
Manage virtual project teams in carrying out projects.
Identify, document, and monitor metrics for program performance.
Provide regular status and management reports. Prepare presentations on program status and notify stakeholders of changes to timelines and resources.
Identify, document, resolve, and escalate major issues. Communicate risks and project deadline changes as appropriate.
Represent Revenue Cycle to other regions, areas of the organization, vendors, and companies outside of Providence St. Joseph.
Assess training needs of staff and customers
Ensure all interactions reflect servant leadership and are customer focused.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration or equivalent educ/experience
A minimum of seven (7) years experience in managing programs of high priority business initiatives including managing multiple projects to achieve identified project portfolio objectives
A minimum of five (5) years experience in a healthcare organization
Advanced strong verbal communication and listening skills
Advanced excellent organizational skills
Advanced ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion
Advanced demonstrated project management skills
Advanced demonstrates a high commitment to quality
Upon hire: Project Management Professional
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Coursework/Training in Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate or equivalent educ/experience
Coursework/Training in Lean, CAP, Six Sigma
A minimum of five (5) years experience in Revenue Cycle
