  • Engineering lifecycle: Defines the design iteration process for the team or organization and leads improvements over successive releases. Validates time estimates of others on the team. Participates in design, code, and test planning and reviews across the feature area, understands the root causes of issues, and finds ways to resolve them. Identifies multi-solution/service dependency issues and scheduling priorities, and establishes milestone exit criteria.

  • Solution and Service ownership: Has a sense of pride and personal accountability for end-to-end quality, completeness, and resulting user experience for the life of the solution/service. Identifies unaddressed issues and resolves, escalates, or finds the appropriate owner to ensure the highest level of quality.
