Providence Lead Environmental Coordinator - Environmental Services in Seattle, Washington
Description:
Providence is calling a Lead Environmental Coordinator (0.5 FTE, Variable Shift) to the Environmental Services at Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, WA.
The Lead Environmental Coordinator provides day-to-day oversight of housekeeping activities and assists the Supervisor of Environmental Services in department management. Serves as the department lead when the Supervisor is not available. Assists with maintaining quality control, compliance with regulatory requirements, staff competencies, and supply resources.
In this position you will:
Performs daily audits of common areas in and outside the building for quality standards as established by this position and the Environmental Services Supervisor
Provides ongoing training to caregivers in the proper housekeeping procedures, including use of equipment, supplies and cleaning techniques
Attends and conducts daily safety huddle meetings
Conducts regular audits of the neighborhood housekeeping and laundry supplies to ensure adequate PAR levels are maintained
Assists in completing daily work of the Environmental Services and Laundry Linen Worker position as needed.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
- One (1) year Housekeeping or janitorial experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or GED
Six (6) months Supervisory experience of healthcare environmental services functions
