Providence is calling a Dining Services Specialist (Food and Nutrition Services, Evening Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington. The Dining Services Specialist is responsible for providing seamless customer service in the area of meals/floor stock/nourishment/food preferences. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and is aware of minimum standards for a quality food service operation. Adheres to standard recipes and plating guidelines. Responsible for accuracy of all assembled meal orders, maintaining par stocks, ordering supplies and rotating product for maximum quality. Interacts with other employees in a friendly and courteous manner. Acts as an effective customer service liaison to all customers and facility departments.

In this position you will:
Act as a liaison between residents and supervisor/manager by communicating appropriate concerns and messages to supervisor/manager for follow up.
Conduct timely delivery and return of food to café, caterings, etc.
Adhere to “clean as you go” practice and maintains workstations as dictated in master cleaning schedule.
Arrange food on streamline and assures quality and availability of items needed for all residents.
Maintain adequate and quality supplies for assigned work area without overstocking.
Adhere to safe work habits as dictated by OSHA and other standards established by department.
