Providence is calling a Program Manager, Marketing and Communications - Pjnf Med Practices Division (Full-Time, Day Shift) at our Providence Saint Johns Medical Foundation in Santa Monica, CA.

We are seeking a Program Manager, Marketing and Communications - Pjnf Med Practices Division who will be is responsible for the daily marketing, communications and digital strategic planning, development, execution and implementation for SJPP related to the promotion of SJPP clinical services across various mediums including, community outreach via print, community events, website, and social media. In this role, the manager will work closely with the internal and external vendors, apply state-of-the-art best practices and possess an understanding of the healthcare marketplace in Southern California. In support of the marketing and promotional efforts, the manager will collaborate with local community organizations linking SJPP Providers with educational opportunities to the public at large. The Program Manager will utilize SEO, PPC, and social media strategies to help increase traffic to the website and the Providence and SJPP brand, while tracking and analyzing traffic and result of the website, digital campaigns and patient conversion. Program Manager will also be responsible for working with and attracting media attention for news and noteworthy SJPP activities such as new publications, clinical trials and patient stories that highlight cutting-edge treatments available at SJPP. The Program Manager will also oversee the development of printed communication materials (physician bios, community education events, email communication to various stakeholders, approved signage and more.)

In this position you will:

  • In conjunction with the Regional Director for Marketing and SJPP leadership, the Program manager will work with the director of marketing to develop the Saint John’s Physician Partners Medical Foundation’s marketing strategic direction along with promotion of foundation service lines and programs while operating within the established annual budget; Organizational planning, project management of comprehensive marketing and communication plans; developing digital and social campaigns, web applications and overseeing the administration of digital tools including a mission-critical, foundation wide website including development of written and visual content support of the foundation; Oversight and execution of media campaigns and print advertising.

  • Monitor performance, analyze reporting, and create recommendations to ensure annual marketing and communication goals are met.

  • Able to communicate effectively with clinical and administrative leaders and have influential voice for best practices in advertisement and promotion of the SJPP including oversight of design, web development, and technology.Develop, prioritize, and execute a roadmap of short and long term strategic digital, social, media and print enhancements and immediate tactical improvements.

  • Proactively identify digital technology innovation and growth opportunities, build business cases, gain buy-in, and execute.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop effective print and digital content for key initiatives.

  • Collaborative working relationships with internal clients to define goals, troubleshoot issues and implement solutions in all web properties and products, such as microsites and mobile app.

  • Maintain awareness of web trends and best practices, current and future technologies.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic marketing plan

  • Support and advance key marketing initiatives across the SJPP Centers of Excellence

  • Identify quarterly marketing benchmarks and analyze and report marketing performance indicators

  • Develop and maintain SEO, PPC and social media campaigns for SJPP websites, Youtube, Facebook, Google and Binary Fountain.

  • Oversee updating of SJPP website and blog content using WordPress Content Management System

  • Promote SJPP patient stories, academic publications, clinical trials, technology developments and other noteworthy events to local and national news media

  • Produce stories for staff and physician newsletters, clinical brochures, video/slide show scripts, web content, fact sheets, social media and blog articles

  • Work with director of marketing to develop annual SJPP marketing budget in coordination with Regional and SJPP Executives, SJPP community and Providence Health and Services

  • Make recommendations and track media, advertising and other budget items within budget parameters

  • Work collaboratively with Providence Marketing and Communication Internal Departments and External vendors.

  • Stay abreast of changes in healthcare marketing environment to best serve SJPP vision and strategic goals

  • Communicate and maintain strong, positive working relationships with internal clinical contacts including physicians, support staff and PNI and Saint John's Cancer Center management

  • Follow established Providence policies, procedures, objectives, performance improvement, attendance, including adherence to the workplace Code of Conduct and Compliance Plan.

  • Practices a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality.

  • The Program manager will lead teams, inspiring and promoting the Providence Mission and Core Values of Excellence, Integrity, Dignity, Justice and Respect among internal and external associates.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5 years relevant experience in marketing and communications, digital communication strategies, website development, social media campaigns, printed collaterals and advertisement

  • 2 years experience in healthcare, medical or scientific setting

  • 2 years supervisory/management experience and leading teams

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Health
