We are seeking a Practice Manager II who will provide ongoing leadership for the development and implementation of management and patient care systems to assure cost-effective and quality operations of the clinic. Ensures strategic integration of care and clinical practices to provide an optimal patient experience. Leads staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in a timely manner which are sensitive to the patient's physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Ensures compliance with established clinical policies and procedures. Participates in PMI-wide special projects, committees or task forces as requested.

Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principles of safety and infection control into daily activities as outlined in Environment of Care, Infection Control, and Exposure Control manuals and department safety policies/procedures. Consistently uses personal protective equipment as required and takes appropriate precautions whenever there is potential for contact with blood, body fluids, chemicals and/or other hazardous materials. Maintains knowledge of work-appropriate aspects of environment of care programs, complies with policies and reports unsafe conditions. Successfully completes Environment of Care HealthStream modules in the required time frames and participates in fire drills and emergency exercises.
Complete annual mandatory education review and competency program.
Oversee the clinic daily operations providing leadership and development to the support staff in the clinic, including access, scheduling, patient flow, telephones, information systems, medical records and patient care.
Overall responsibility for recruitment, retention, training, compensation, and performance management of all clinic support staff.
Analyze monthly statistical reports on clinic production and revenues. Recommends and implements process improvement plans to address areas of deficiency. Develops and monitors multiple clinic operating budgets. Assures clinic operates within budget.
Oversee accounts payable, purchasing, payroll, billing and collection functions for the clinic.

Prepare budget and identify opportunities to ensure clinic financial success.
Develop strategies to achieve 3-5 year clinic goals in conjunction with the Medical Group strategies. Review, analyze and develop action plans from multiple data sources. Effectively communicate clinic needs up through the organization and recommend improvements.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Four (4) years supervisory and/or management experience within a healthcare environment, medical group office, or outpatient facility.
Experience developing key relationships within an integrated delivery system such as hospital, health plan and support departments.
Knowledge of health care environment, medical office policies and procedures, general accounting procedures and human resource management practices.
Strong written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to identify and solve problems, makes decisions, and implements changes.
Ability to prioritize, plan and coordinate work activities.
Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with clinic physician leadership and staff physicians to carry out clinic mission, goals and objectives.
Strong knowledge of Practice Management Systems and Electronic Medical Records.
Demonstrated management and leadership skills, particularly mentoring, coaching and conflict management.
Personal style which emphasizes openness, visibility and approachability.
Excellent listening and follow-through abilities and a willingness to accept constructive criticism.
Ability to travel between facilities in an efficient manner.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field or equivalent educ/experience
