Providence Health & Services Registered Respiratory Therapist in Salem, Oregon
Providence is calling a Registered Respiratory Therapist (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Home Services in Salem, OR.
In this position, you will:
Perform respiratory therapy procedures and assessments in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
Instruct patients in the proper use of equipment provided by Home Medical Equipment's Home Oxygen and Medical Equipment groups.
Troubleshoot equipment problems for patients using equipment provided by Home Oxygen and Medical Equipment.
Provide overall support to Home Oxygen and Medical Equipment staff, marketing and sales.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Upon hire must be licensed by the Respiratory Therapist Licensing Board in the state of Oregon AND within 30 days of hire date acquire licensure with the Health Professions Quality Assurance Division for Respiratory Therapists in the state of Washington
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Driving record consistent with GOP Safe Driving Policy 330 Incident Point Matrix at time of hire
In compliance with the Providence Health & Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 “Background Checks”, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties as well as a State of Washington WATCH background check.
