Providence is calling an HRIS Senior Systems Analyst to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA or any of the following states: AK, CA, OR, or MT

We are seeking a Sr. Systems Analyst, HRIS to perform technical and analytical functions for the HR and related areas for complex information system needs. Regularly identify, design and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of human resource and related financial data. Act as the liaison between business teams, application vendors and IS for system integrations, enhancements and issue fixes; Responsible for translating business needs to system design, conduct system/data analysis, and participating in testing and deployment activities. Actively participate in and lead creating audit plans, schedules and testing of system upgrades and new configurations. Analyze data and provides guidance in making employee related decisions.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for one or more HRIS modules/functional areas and actively participate in design, implementation and support of HR systems.

  • Provide hands-on tier 2 or 3 operational support for system or data issues, complex system/process questions, reporting and change requests as needed

  • Identify, design, implement and maintain system configuration for supported HR systems as prescribed by HRIS leader(s).

  • Analyze data structures and meet complex information needs through established reports or utilization of various tools and applications to develop new reports for HR and other business users

  • Work directly with HR communities, technical staff and project teams to identify, analyze, design, test and implement new systems or improvements to existing systems and associated procedures

  • Act as workstream lead on system projects, feature releases and issue resolutions as needed

  • 25-30% travel to system-wide locations. Travel requirement may increase, based on project requirements (e.g. system implementation work)

  • Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Foster teamwork and engagement with geographically dispersed team members working virtually or from PSJH office locations

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelors Degree- Finance, Human Resources, Computer Science, Business Mgmt. or related field or equivalent work experience.

  • 5 years In-depth system knowledge and demonstrated experience with process flow, configuration design and integrations in complex HR and/or payroll systems (e.g. Lawson, Infor, Workday, Oracle, ADP, Kronos, Taleo, Success Factors)

  • 5 years Demonstrated experience supporting and implementing complex HR and/or payroll systems (e.g. Lawson, Infor, Workday, Oracle, ADP, Kronos, Taleo, Success Factors)

  • Knowledge of MS Word, Advanced Excel, Access, Powerpoint - and ability to use effectively in data analysis and documentation

  • 5 years’ Experience in reporting tools and techniques for HR, payroll and related data for large, complex organizations from multiple systems and sources

  • Functional/Technical knowledge of HR applications and databases - (e.g. Workday, Oracle, Lawson, Kronos, Taleo, Success Factors, Employee Health systems, Document imaging systems, Reporting/Analytics applications, etc) Note: addendum will be attached to job description if specific application experience is required for the position.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Healthcare industry experience

  • PHR or SPHR certification upon Hire or during employment
