Providence Health & Services Financial Reporting System Administration Manager PSJH in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Financial Reporting System Administration Manager PSJH to our location in Renton, WA.
We are seeking a Financial Reporting System Admin Manager PSJH to be responsible for administration of PSJH's financial reporting application (Oracle Hyperion Financial Management), which consolidates approximately 300 entities from multiple source systems in order to produce accurate and timely financial data to internal and external customers. Administration includes assistance in performing and testing of upgrades, maintaining metadata, create and maintain financial statements, create and maintain data loads, closing monthly financials, and review and monitoring of elimination and various hierarchies.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Facilitate the monthly close and consolidations of the financial reporting application.
Perform key role in creating and maintaining audited footnote schedules to pull the necessary data from the financial reporting application, or from source systems.
Create and maintain all data loads facilitation into the financial reporting application. Includes set up within the data management system that feeds source data to the financial reporting application via mappings, such as accounts.
Create and maintain metadata within Data Relationship Management (DRM) application which is then pushed to the financial reporting application. This includes maintaining hierarchies such as Entity, Department, and Account.
Function as the financial reporting application expert for monthly and annual maintenance.
Function as the financial reporting application ad hoc query and reporting expert to facilitate data needs of customers both within finance and in other functional areas.
Function as main contact for Financial Planning & Analysis team for annual budget process.
Responsible for maintaining the chart of accounts for Lawson accounting system.
Perform key role in financial reporting application upgrades and optimization projects, including working with external consultants to ensure proper mitigation of application and data.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
At least 6 years of progressive and responsible accounting experience, with demonstrated experience in the areas of financial reporting and auditing.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
Demonstrate problem solving skills.
Demonstrate customer service skills.
Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, even under pressure.
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and to organize workload to ensure that timeframes are met and the work is successfully complete within deadlines.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 1 year work experience with Oracle Hyperion Financial Management application.
