Providence Health & Services Financial Analyst PSJH in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Financial Analyst PSJH to our location in Renton, WA.

We are seeking a Financial Analyst PSJH who will coordinates the on-going use of a departmental and entity budget, forecast and variance analysis reporting systems that will assist managers and senior analysts throughout the System Office in effectively measuring revenues and expenses in relation to their budgets and forecasts.
Providing current information related to budget, long range financial plans, forecasts and general ledger, identifying and understanding expense trends, and providing information to support the System Office Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) operational improvement efforts.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Analysis: Conducts analysis and research to identify key variances and financial and operational trends. Works with finance teams to identify key drivers for use in budgets, forecasts and operational decisions. As well as ad hoc analysis to support finance teams, departments and regions as requested.
Reporting: Prepares insightful and intuitive reports. Participates in the development of monthly reporting deliverables. Ensures SharePoint site is current and accurate by updating and maintaining the System Office FP&A SharePoint as needed. Develops effective reporting processes and procedures as needed. Provides reports to management.
Data Organization: Collects and coordinates data and information from source systems, including HFM, StrataJazz, EPSi and Lawson Ensures data integrity. Accurately and thoroughly documents data sources and processes. Provides data for LRP, variance analysis and budget efforts as requested.
Business Support: Develops understanding of business drivers for segment/s of business. Identify risks and opportunities. Answers questions and resolves issues for managers and teams. Communicates interpretation of information.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor degree, in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Information Systems.
Equivalent work experience in healthcare finance will be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in finance, accounting or related field as well as experience using data extraction, spreadsheets, word processing, and financial software applications.
