Providence is calling a Contract Analyst, Price Management to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA.
We are seeking a Contract Analyst, Price Management to be responsible for price management within the ERP and Sharepoint applications, including promoting cost effectiveness and operational efficiency in the contracting, purchasing, and utilization and performing other duties and responsibilities in support of the programs, activities, and staff of the One Supply Chain Management strategy. He or she will be responsible for price management, contract loads and changes, resolving Epic price issues, supports buyers invoice discrepancies and new acquisition contract analysis, will work closely with all Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Operations & Logistics and Epic staff and managers in price management activities and will also work closely with our GPO and business partners on price management issues.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for supporting all activities related to price management; support new pricing loads and price changes, using database tools to analyze and identify price management opportunities.
Support Epic team with ensuring accurate contract data is being interfaced to Optime; support and manage the OSMC strategic plan for Strategic Sourcing contracts and monitor contract compliance; support new acquisition go-live activity for Strategic Sourcing.
Develop and maintain price management analysis tools and reports; support buyers with price discrepancy issues and help monitor vendor performance objectives.
Communicate effectively with Region and Facility based executive and operations leadership to ensure that ongoing contract data clean-up is progressing per timeline; be responsible for implementing strategy for contract data clean-up.
Responsible for maintaining system-wide contracts database, contract expiration and renewals and notifying key stakeholders; ensure proper loading of contracted pricing and reviews for accuracy over course of contract life.
Be responsible for assisting Manager Strategic Sourcing, Price Management in developing price management strategy; interact with GPO to utilize available analytical tools and data in support of price management initiatives.
Apply and enforce procurement practices in accordance with the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and accounting practices for establishing appropriate inventory management controls in conjunction with established system technical accounting bulletins (TAB) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in business or finance or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Three (3) plus years of Region or enterprise level strategic sourcing or experience in a healthcare setting, and five (5) years total relevant supply chain management experience.
Experience sourcing and contracting for medical and non-medical supplies at a region or large facility level.
Healthcare business operations and/or financial management experience in a healthcare setting.
Experience in process improvement methodology, change management, and operational improvement in complex systems.
Proficiency with the MS-Office suite of products, Outlook, and general Lawson MMIS knowledge.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Region level experience with strategy development and contract management.
