Providence Associate Contract/Vendor/Requisition Analyst PSJH in Renton, Washington

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Associate Contract/Vendor/Requisition Analyst PSJH to our location in Renton, WA.

Attention to detail, a service mindset, and the ability to work effectively with a close-knit team are critical to success in this position.

The associate analyst position supports the system administration and operation of the Beeline/IQNavigator Application. The IQNavigator solution is a platform that allows Providence Shared Service teams to contract for contingent labor and professional services consulting assignments. The position will support the operations including, report, ticketing, documentation, auditing, and invoicing.

In addition, the analyst will participate in or lead continuous improvement efforts. Special projects are a core component of the job, and the analyst will identify opportunities for process and data quality improvements, create a plan, then execute on those plans.

Prior experience working with staff augmentation systems and contract operations is a plus.

We are seeking an Associate Contract/Vendor/Requisition Analyst to do the assignments of low to moderate complexity and managing and driving small projects to completion. The incumbent must participate in project teams on occasion, analyze user requirements, act as a source for direction, and respond to support inquiries.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Actively participate with cross-functional teams within Information Services and throughout the health system across all ministries with strict adherence to all Providence St. Joseph Health policies, procedures, processes, guidelines, and all legal requirements (local, state, and federal), including support of organizational goals.

  • Participate in continual review of procurement processes for areas of improvement or risk and ensure the proper and timely management of IT expenses, invoices, orders, and other related team functions. Be good stewards of budget and expenditures. Consistently strive to meet the operational needs of Providence St Joseph Health Information Services.

  • Identify and report efficiencies and cost savings to leadership to reduce costs for the organization where ever possible. Assist in standardizing processes to provide exceptional customer service while reducing cost. Identify and eliminate non-value added processes. Ability to work with vendors to obtain quotes, evaluate orders and invoices, resolve issues and other information as needed and raise any concerns to management.

  • Demonstrated ability to use internal tools to evaluate orders, process requisitions, orders, invoices and input into system, forwarding for final approval. Demonstrate service excellence and positive interpersonal relationships in dealing with others. Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships in dealing with others so that productivity is maximized. Knowledge using computers and technology, including proficiency with the MS-Office suite of prodcuts (basic Excel knowledge required).

  • Ability to manage 10-14 vendors at one time and accept direction and acquire more information as needed. Ability to accept responsibility, work independently, actively listen and adapt to change while acting with and maintaining integrity. Ability to work collaboratively with Providence St Joseph Health staff throughout the health system, across all ministries. Work collaboratively with others to determine information and data requirements. Evaluate and report on a variety of topics, sometimes complex in nature.

  • Actively support and incorporate the mission and core values into daily activities. Treat all others with respect and demonstrate excellence, justice and compassion in daily work and relationships with others.

  • Skilled communicator, both oral and written. Skilled in working collaboratively, courteously and tactfully with difficult situations and/or people to recognize issues and solve problems. Plan and perform tasks correctly, in a timely and orderly manner, while meeting productivity, quality and customer service goals contained in Service Level Agreements. Ability to work with all levels of management and staff.

  • Respects confidentiality of all information related to patients, medical staff, caregivers, budget, expenditures, costs and all other sensitive information. Work is completed within corporate security policies and standards.

  • Ensure purchases are in compliance with established standards. Ensure the timely communication of any changes that can impact the delivery of products and services.

  • Ability to work with internal teams to develop business decisions. Uses professional knowledge and independent judgment in making decisions or recommending a course of action. Good interpersonal skills as well as excellent problem solving skills.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience.

  • 2 years functional experience.

  • Demonstrated analyticalskills.

  • Advanced articulate and responsive to colleagues.

  • Ability to build strong customer relationships.

  • Demonstrated a high level of accuracy, even under pressure.

  • Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills.

Preferred qualifications for this position include :

  • Prior experience working with staff augmentation systems and contract operations is a plus.

  • 1 year of experience in Information Services.

  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.

  • 1 year of experience with Accounting/Purchasing.

  • Basic knowledge and administration of vendor management policies and procedures. Basic accounting/procurement knowledge, including purchasing, internal audit, and inventory control principles where applicable. Broad understanding of information services.
