Providence is calling a Provconnect Application Analyst HR/Payroll to Providence Health & Services in Beaverton, OR or Renton, WA
We are seeking an Analyst to demonstrate thorough knowledge that is recognized by other members of the department, business partners, and the user community. An Analyst 2 supports one or more application modules of moderate complexity. An Analyst 2 performs with a high degree of independence on small to moderate projects and assignments. An Analyst 2 has working knowledge about the business use of the applications. Analyst 2 will apply complex principles and concepts for the application area. Analyst 2 plays an active role in complex projects such as software implementations and upgrades as a business/technical collaborator, subject matter resource, and task/assignment resource.
In this position you will:
Provide support for appropriate modules in the application area.
Provide input or training to Analysts, Command Center and Help Desk staff on on-call troubleshooting and monitoring techniques.
Writes documentation that others can follow to effectively analyze diagnostic information to predict future performance and identify issues that may need to be resolved to ensure the system continues to perform well.
Provide support for upgrades and updates for highly complex applications primarily supported by ProvConnect IT.
Participate or develop test plans to test application functionality of highly complex applications across multiple modules in support of patches, upgrades, and infrastructure and/or desktop configuration changes.
Maintain lists of known issues and enhancement requests.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor or Associate degree.
Working knowledge of MS Add-in tools, Query languages such as SQL , Crystal or TOAD.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access & PowerPoint.
Availability for business-related travel 10 to 75% of working time to support assigned duties, such as on-site software implementations in the Regions.
Ability to provide after-hours support to system users on a rotating on-call schedule.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 3 years of experience in healthcare or relevant ERP or business process IT.
