This posting represents all of the Specialty Scheduling Coordinator opportunities Providence has available in the Portland Metro/SW Washington Area. We are seeking candidates for day shift (hours of operations vary between 7am to 7pm) for full-time, part-time, and relief fill-in positions.

In this position, you will:
Schedule office and hospital services for patients including scheduling appointments with external providers or ancillary departments to ensure coordinated care for patients.
Perform all duties in a manner which promotes the team concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent -or- equivalent education and experience
2 or more years working experience in a medical clinic, office setting or administrative setting
Extensive and excellent customer service experience
Microsoft Office Skills, including computerized appointment scheduling (Outlook or other system)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Epic or other electronic medical record (EMR)
Working knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) & International Classification of Diseases (ICD10) codes
Specialty clinic experience
