Providence Health & Services Registered Respiratory Therapist- NICU/PICU in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a NICU/PICU Registered Respiratory Therapist (0.9 FTE, Nights) to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.
In this position, you will:
Perform respiratory care services in accordance with departmental standards, policies and protocols.
Provide total respiratory care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting and other areas.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of AMA approved school for Respiratory Care with a related Associate Degree
Licensed by the Oregon Respiratory Therapist Licensing Board as Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
National Registry by National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), & Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification obtained within 6 months of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
2 years of level II/III experience or NBRC Perinatal/Pediatric certification
Extensive credentialing in advanced neonatal specific procedures and equipment
