Providence Health & Services Regional Director of Pharmacy Operations and Compliance in Portland, Oregon


Providence is calling a Regional Director of Pharmacy Operations and Compliance (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Office Park in Portland, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Work under the direction of the Chief Pharmacy Officer

  • Be responsible for development and management of central pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance including, but not limited to, central pharmacy purchasing, infusion therapy, and EPIC order review and verification.

  • Implement, maintain and optimize a compliant 340B program in the Oregon region in association with the Director of Business Development - Pharmacy, hospital and clinic administrators, and local pharmacy leadership.

  • Coordinate the Oregon Board of Pharmacy compliance activities for the Oregon region.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Board of Pharmacy registered -and- graduate training in an accredited college of Pharmacy

  • Completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited pharmacy residency -or- equivalent experience

  • Valid Oregon driver's license

  • 5 years of pharmacy leadership experience

  • 340B pharmacy experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy
