Providence is calling a Quality Improvement Project Manager to Providence Office Park in Portland, OR. Candidates who possess a clinical background are encouraged to apply!
In this position, you will:
Be responsible for managing completion of quality improvement projects within the Providence Medical Group (PMG) specifically related to development, validation, pilot, implementation and spread of new standards.
Manage all aspects of one or more projects as an advisor or leader, with direct accountability for project execution, to the executive sponsor or senior PMG leadership when needed.
Be responsible for planning the tasks associated with successful project completion, if acting as the leader, or working with a leader to help the team function more effectively.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in project management, information technologies, quality improvement, change management, healthcare administration, or clinical field, -or-
Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience -or-
6 years of experience
years of experience in healthcare, outpatient medical clinic setting
Experienced in Quality Assurance (QA)/testing of workflows
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Certification in health care quality or project management
Experienced in QA/testing of workflows in an electronic medical record environment
Experience in drafting training materials including flow charts, job aids, and associated workflows documentation
Experience in developing and using Webinars as a vehicle for communication and training
