Providence Health & Services Project Manager Telehealth PSJH in Portland, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Telehealth Project Manager to one of our locations in Seattle, WA; Renton, WA; Spokane, WA; or Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Project Manager to be accountable for managing telehealth projects which include the implementation and launch of enterprise services such as TeleStroke, TeleICU and TelePsychiatry in internal and external customer sites. The Project Manager will also consult with local clinical and operational leaders on the development of new telehealth pilots and programs to be implemented in Providence service areas. This individual leads all aspects of projects, partnering closely with sponsors/leaders and key stakeholders at each customer site, as well as enterprise telehealth colleagues critical to successful implementation (such as sales and account management, clinical operations, field engineering, and other operational functions related to telehealth services).
The Project Manager ensures projects are planned, managed and executed in a manner that satisfies customers and meets both regulatory and contractual requirements. They assemble project teams and manage the activities the teams are responsible to deliver, anticipating potential challenges, helping to remove barriers and escalating issues when needed. Acting as the customer's primary point of contact as it relates to project implementation activities, the Project Manager effectively monitors, documents and communicates status and progress. They must be skilled at using effective communication and change management best practices to ensure stakeholders are informed throughout the process, as well as prepared and ready for project launch.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Actively partner with customers and enterprise telehealth team members to understand and clarify project needs, contractual requirements and other information necessary to achieve shared objectives and key results.
Assess/evaluate the customer organization, key stakeholders and environment(s) to determine and/or confirm scope of work needed for the project and readiness for change.
Develop, document and maintain project plans, assemble project teams and create an approved schedule.
Manage projects with specific focus on deliverables, tasks, quality standards and due dates. Use strong project management and change management practices, as well as telehealth implementation methodologies.
Maintain regular, two-way communication with all project team members and other stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and a successful implementation. This includes ensuring customer satisfaction through follow-up, customer responsiveness, and management of customer expectations.
Adhere to internal policies and controls within the organization; establish and enforce processes that deliver the expected outcomes with accuracy and reliability.
The Providence St. Joseph Health telehealth team partners with its customers to develop and implement innovative clinical services that achieve the Quadruple Aim: improved quality and experience for providers and patients at a lower total cost of care.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educ/experience
Training in project management, change management and process improvement methodologies (e.g. PMP/PMI, Agile, CAP, Workout, Six Sigma, LEAN, CQIA, etc.)
3 years Managing projects and/or programs
Demonstrated track record of implementing projects with high levels of customer satisfaction
Presentation and facilitation experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
1 year healthcare industry experience
1 year Telehealth experience
