Providence is calling a Program Manager, CPS Neurosciences Institute to Providence Health & Services in Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Program Manager, CPS Neurosciences Institute to provide guidance and leadership for activities supporting system-wide neurosciences under the direction of the GVP and Director, CPS Neuroscience Institute and in collaboration with the system-wide Neurosciences Leadership Council. Specific accountabilities include but are not limited to: active participation in and leadership of, the clinical focus groups and the quality and cost initiatives within those groups; facilitation of implementation plans for large-scale strategic initiatives under the direction of the GVP; facilitation of the work with key physician leaders to help develop and implement clinical decision pathways using evidence-based research and expert consensus; assuring CPG workflow across multiple divisions and regions with the Director and GVP for the neuroscience work flows within the focus groups. This role requires solid experience working directly with neuroscience physicians and other clinicians, preferably in a service line system model. This role also requires some experience bringing clinicians together from across geographic boundaries to collaborate around clinical development and patient excellence supporting system and neuroscience strategies and work initiatives. These responsibilities span the Providence St. Joseph Health System throughout all regions. Essential Job Functions:
Ensures efficient and effective implementation of system-wide neurosciences institute network via coordinated and structured approaches to ensure appropriate and timely results for all neuroscience executive metrics, operating commitments and other work initiatives within the focus groups
Works directly with the Patient Engagement Center to track patient referrals and ensure patient satisfaction via immediate follow up with patients, caregivers, local clinical care teams and local administrative support staff as needed in coordination with the Director
Works effectively with regional/local key stakeholders to ensure integration of institute clinical services to end users based on the direction of the focus group initiatives
Together with Neurosciences GVP and Director, helps to develops cost, utilization, and technology/research goals and objectives for institute services to meet yearly commitments
Effectively coordinates and summarizes data needs and works collaboratively with healthcare intelligence team, decision support teams and EPIC teams to obtain needed information and data analysis in support of the system wide neurosciences strategies, in collaboration with the Focus Groups, Director and GVP
Provides input, in coordination with the Director and/or GVP, provides guidance as needed to the Neurosciences Analytic Lead and team in support of the creation and tracking of outcomes (dashboards) utilized for institute development and maintenance and in support of system wide Focus Group deliverables
Partners with other divisions to assure that needed expertise is available from across the enterprise in support of effective and efficient delivery of institute focus group work in support of all neuroscience patient populations
Provides support as requested by the Director and/or GVP for all activities associated with the NS Leadership Council, regional gap analysis preparation and tracking, coordination with Supply Chain and other divisions to provide information for formal presentations given by the GVP , Director , and/or NS co-MD leads

Required qualifications for this position include:
Undergraduate degree required; additional clinical training strongly preferred (i.e. health care technologist; therapist, clinical research coordinator, etc.
3-5 years’ work experience in healthcare required or a comparable background with clinical/project leadership experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience co-leading groups of clinicians in support of clinical development to reach timely and effective/efficient outcomes.
Knowledge of project management, process improvement including CAP, Lean Six Sigma is helpful. Experience within neurosciences clinical and/or administrative/operational roles strongly preferred.
