Providence Health & Services Program Coordinator in Portland, Oregon

Providence St Joseph Health is calling a Program Coordinator to the Quality Management and Medical Staff Services Department at Providence Oregon Regional Shared Services in Portland, OR. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), day shift position.

We are seeking a Program Coordinator who will provide support and manages the Professional Staff leadership and ED call stipends. The Program Coordinator provides support for various domains within the Division, and utilizes independent judgment and initiative on assignments that are sensitive in nature and demonstrate the ability to interface with high level internal and external contacts.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinate regional activities related to domain within QRQMMSS.

  • Work closely with staff to provide coordination, technical and logistical support for events, activities and other assignments.

  • Support the initiatives within the division managing web sites and other data repositories.

  • Utilize independent judgment and initiative on assignments that are confidential, sensitive in nature

  • Collaborate with Medical Staff Office and Professionals Staff Leaders in managing leadership and Emergency Call stipend and other contract obligation as well as members' compliance and tracking with Stark Law Non monetary Compensation.

  • Support regional committees essential to domain, overseeing calendar management of committees and managers. Manages agendas, provides technical and administrative support for committees; collates data as needed. Act as back-up for Executive Assistant within the domain.

  • Manage and oversees annual dues process.

  • Perform other duties where needed within the domain as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Associate's Degree and 3 years’ experience in healthcare/clinical environment or 5 years equivalent work experience

  • 3 years experience independently managing multiple software programs, data collation, and report writing

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills

  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills

  • Ability to build strong customer relationships

  • Performs work independently with minimal supervision

  • Possesses strong product knowledge

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree
