Providence Health & Services Program Analyst - Managed Care in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a Program Coordinator - Managed Care to Providence Medical Group located at the Providence Office Park in Portland, OR.
The Program Coordinator is positioned to work directly with the Value Based Revenue Department, Annual Wellness Visit Team and Clinic Leadership to drive performance in Managed Care arrangements specifically around HCC coding and utilization. This role is critical for supporting performance, tracking and facilitating discussions with clinic leadership to drive improvement and support education across our clinics.
A successful candidate would be experienced in healthcare including Managed Care environments, able to analyze data and perform statistical analysis, gap analysis, and present findings across all levels of leadership. Experience with Epic and Microsoft Excel will be crucial to your success in this role.

In this position, you will:
Provide program development and analytical support in a team-based environment, across risk-adjusted populations for the Providence Medical Group and Regional leadership for the Oregon Region.
Work with the management team on Clinical Documentation and Utilization trend analysis, preparation of presentations and reporting, and coordination with Clinic Leadership on performance initiatives.
Develop actionable monthly, quarterly and annual performance reporting that will optimize financial performance under Risk Agreements. To maximize performance related to PMG’s risk arrangements, the Managed Care Program Coordinator effectively collaborates with the PMG Leadership teams, Annual Wellness Visit Team, Clinic Managers, Medical Directors, and Regional Shared Services departments, including Quality, Finance, Innovation, Coding, Population Health and Informatics.
Perform special projects as appropriate.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Mathematics or related field
2 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience facilitating process groups, managing projects, and implementing solutions
Must be highly motivated and organized
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Demonstrated knowledge of Epic applications
Knowledge of Providence Health & Services ministries and systems
General knowledge of risk contracts
