Providence Health & Services Pharmacy Technician In Training in Portland, Oregon
Providence is currently offering a Pharmacy Technician In Training program to caregivers with a passion to work in the Pharmacy Profession. This is a full time, 1 year paid training program which includes benefits located in Portland, OR.
In this position, you will:
Start this position with initial 6 months being a combination of class room lessons, introduction skill set rotations, weekly training testing. Lessons will cover multiple pharmacy disciplines to prepare caregiver for Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) national exam.
Have advanced skill set rotations at the 6 month point, which includes being part of daily workflow with various technician mentors at designated pharmacy sites.
Perform all typical duties of a pharmacy staff technician as defined by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Current Oregon Board of Pharmacy Technician registration
Successful passing of Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PCTB) exam within 12 months of registration
Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician license after successful completion of PCTB exam
