Providence is calling a Personal Care Aide (0.0 FTE, Days) to Providence ElderPlace in Gresham in Portland, OR .
In this position, you will:
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, provide personal care and assistance to ElderPlace participants.
Create and/or maintain a physical and social environment consistent with residence care needs.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
Standard First Aid certification
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) CPR must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Current caregivers have until 2019 to obtain AHA certification, which then must be maintained
1 year of experience, as a caregiver, with frail or elderly population
In compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties; fingerprinting may also be required
