Portland, Oregon - Seeking an excellent Neuro-oncology nurse practitioner. Full-time position. Competitive compensation; comprehensive benefits. Ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in Neuro-oncology, Neurology or Oncology. New clinician will work in tandem with a Neuro-oncology in both hospital and clinic settings. The Providence Neuro-oncology Program in Oregon combines experts from both Providence Brain and Spine Institute and Providence Cancer Institute to form a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of caregivers dedicated to caring for our patients. Our team is comprised of world class neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, oncology social workers and palliative care providers. We focus on helping our patients fully understand the complexity and choices related to brain cancer and its effects. Our primary goal is to provide patients with the best treatment options available, help them make informed decisions about their care, and maximize their quality of life through symptom management and a supportive team. We advance research that aids in finding a cure for the most aggressive tumors of the central nervous system.
