Providence Health & Services Medical Director Regional Children Services in Portland, Oregon
Portland, Oregon - Seeking a board certified Pediatric physician to serve as senior medical director for a regional children’s program. Full-time position. Competitive compensation; comprehensive benefits. This physician leader will help develop strategies to improve the health of children, inclusive of quality, cost, and experience. The role reports to the executive medical director for Providence Health & Services’ Oregon Women and Children’s Services, and will also provide medical direction for professional services provided by pediatric medical sub-specialists throughout the Oregon region, including management of employed medical directors. Prior experience in a physician leadership role is required. Demonstrated experience with continuous quality improvement, population health management, and accountable care organizations or payer relationships is preferred.
