Providence is calling a Manager - Rehab Clinical Services - Child Developement Institute (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR
We are seeking a Manager - Rehab Clinical Services - Pcdi At Child Center that will provide leadership and implements strategies to ensure quality outcomes, support for inter-disciplinary care teams, provider engagement and development of clinical standards, workflows, processes and work to ensure system and regional metrics and measures are achieved.
Provides oversight to CDI quality initiatives, leads team to action with identified opportunities for clinical improvement. Actively works to improve clinical performance and for identified priorities (e.g. clinical transformation, population health and quality measures, standards of care, clinical goals and outcomes).
Outcomes of this work include the achievement and communication of success measures, support of clinical quality principals, mission and core values of Providence Health and Services.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Develop, measure and report quality performance, ensure quality outcomes
Support onboarding and orientation of new providers for successful integration to the team
Ensure coordination of clinical services for a connected patient care experience
Incorporate research and best practice into program standards and practice
Facilitate, document and communicate best practice workflows
Identify needs/opportunities for care and makes recommendations to refine and improve delivery of services
Facilitate the development of competencies and performance criteria for all supervised personnel
Identify learning needs and develops educational strategies for clinical caregivers
Work will support Quadruple Aim strategies and clinical transformation initiatives
Effectively utilize resources and share expertise to develop high quality, cost effective, comprehensive best practices
Coordinates and supervises CDI professionals including therapists, dietitians, and audiologists
Ensures programmatic clinical compliance and regulations
Works collaboratively with leadership and staff to infuse a culture of accountability, teamwork, coordination, continual improvement and care innovation
Drive improved clinical outcomes through the development and deployment of standard toolkits, processes and clinical assessments
Analyze clinical performance data to identify clinical variation opportunities and make recommendations in alignment with strategic plan and vision
Collaborate with leadership team to ensure the provision of quality services by recruiting, selecting and developing quality caregivers who will meet qualitative, quantitative and mission related goals
Assist with operationalizing, implementing and monitoring program development initiatives
Collaborate with leadership team to meet or exceed productivity standards, financial performance goals and budget
Establish and maintains interdepartmental relationships
Support performance management activities
Duties may include up to 10% patient related care
Participate in planned community events/public relations activities which promote services, consumer education and prevention
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Bachelor's Degree -OR- Master's Degree -OR- Ph.D.an accredited professional program in the specified discipline service (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Audiology or Speech/Language Pathology) -OR- equivalent education/experience
Current license to practice in the State of Oregon and/or the State of Washington
Five (5) years of experience working as a therapist, 2 of which should be in a supervisory/lead role
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Membership in the national/state/local professional association
